Training & Services

We offer motivational obedience classes for all ages and breeds of dogs (and people) through group classes or private lessons in the southern Ontario, Quinte West area of Canada. Please refer to the “Training and Services” tab for full details on all the services we offer.

The teaching techniques we use are based on many, many years of learning. This enables us to pass on the most modern effective training methods to every dog owner.

We specialize in “teaching the owner” how to train their dog.

Fine Quality Breeding

We occasionally offer German Shepherd puppies and young adults with great genetic working ability. We focus on old world European intensity and nerves in the natural dog itself; we look for what a dog has “within itself” before any training begins.  Our dogs are suitable for many facets of K9 work, as companions and most of all as valued family members.  Not every puppy is appropriate for each situation; we will help you find the correct puppy to fit your lifestyle or work needs.  Puppies are fully guaranteed and placed appropriately based on temperament and suitability with the family or agency’s requirements. In addition, grown dogs sold to agencies will carry a “guarantee to pass the test”.

The kennel name we have chosen is  von Kaltbach, which means from Cold Creek in German.
